Visual Artist Research Study: AI Tools for Art Feedback
We are seeking 2D artists (e.g., painters, illustrators, digital artists) to try out new prototypes that provide AI-generated art feedback/critique.
Participant Requirements:
- Artist Profile: 2D visual artist with 2–7 years of consistent art practice and/or education, who finds feedback valuable.
- Demographics: 18+, located in the US or Canada, comfortable with English.
- Tech: Access to a laptop or desktop computer with a microphone (no phones/tablets).
- Recording: Willing to participate in a Zoom session, with recorded audio & screen-sharing.
- Artwork: Willing to share a digital image of your art for use with the AI system.
Study Activities (90-minute online session):
- Use three different AI tool prototypes to get feedback on your artwork.
- Provide your feedback through a survey and follow-up questions.
Compensation:
You will receive a $30 CAD honorarium, delivered by Interac e-transfer, a USD-equivalent Zelle payment, or an Amazon.ca/Amazon.com gift card.
